It is always a challenge for us when the holiday season comes a-knocking. It is tough to find a matching time for our different students at different levels, taking different subjects, students with siblings, and the list goes on. Thus, with this modular learning environment, the time slots are very flexible to cater to the various groups to the best we can.

Focus:

This programme targets the written components of the English Language, with emphasis on:

Composition Writing
Comprehension Open-Ended (skills only).

What will my child be learning?

This course is designed to build confidence and competence in writing and language application. Students will gain techniques to craft compelling compositions and tackle comprehension and synthesis tasks with ease.

Skills Highlights

Master my R.A.C.E.R. plot flow structure for stronger storylines.
Learn how to tackle comprehension open-ended skills, and question analysis with precision. (note: I will not go through the questions. Students will apply the skills, attempt the questions and check against the guides)

Class Format

Materials are the same, but teaching is differentiated by ability.
Small group sizes allow for flexible mixing of students across levels.

My child is already in the regular classes, should I sign up for this?

Yes! The M.A.D. programme offers fresh content and new strategies not covered in regular weekly lessons. It’s an excellent opportunity to stretch their learning beyond the classroom routine.

This programme addresses open-ended question (OEQ) skills, helping students strengthen conceptual understanding and answer with clarity and structure.

What will my child be learning?

Content is based on the MOE syllabus, covering:
- Diversity, Interactions, Cycles, Energy, Systems
Learn my proven R.I.S.E.N. framework:
- R – Read the question carefully
- I – Identify keywords and concepts
- S – Sift through the options
- E – Elaborate with scientific reasoning
- N – Neaten for logical structure and clarity

Class format

All materials will be provided for application during class.
Focused, hands-on strategies for each topic and question type.

Mode of Delivery

Online and On-site options available.

Absolutely! The M.A.D. programme features exclusive materials and focused exam strategies beyond the regular curriculum. Perfect for those aiming for AL1.

This M.A.D Catch Up is a modular consultation concept.
There are no regular lessons over this period, but will be morphed into a timed and controlled exam condition environment.
English Focus: Compo, Synthesis & Transformation
Science Focus: Section B - Open Ended Questions
All modules listed are different (NO repeats**)**
Materials: past year exam papers* (will be sorted, edited and released in early May, material fees apply)

will not be repeated from what I have prepared for my regular classes*

SUITABILITY:

For EL group classes (online/onsite), it is possible for mixed levels to attend at the same time.
For SCI group classes (online/onsite), it is NOT possible for mixed levels, hence accepting P6 students only.
The rest may indicate your interest, and I will try to group, according to majority and demand. </aside>

Each slot covers different topics and skills tested, so there is NO repeats.

As this course is specially designed for students who are really focused and motivated to learn and want to have a breakthrough in their scores, please consider the above dates, and ensure your child is able to attend ALL sessions before signing up. There will be no make-up classes, and no refund of lessons.

Recorded videos are subject to changes, due to the PDDA law. Even if recorded videos are released, they will not be the full duration in case there are any sensitive remarks or unnecessary comments made by the participants. I will make the final decision and discretion.

In any case, your child is unwell or unable to attend, I may make exceptions to correspond via short calls, email, or WhatsApp messages. More details will be added later.

Please, also do note that only the lesson notes/questions from my materials will be covered over the lessons. I am not obligated to answer any other questions from your child’s school/tuition work.

As a final note, all my teaching materials in this course are subjected to copyright and strictly limited to use for this holiday programme only. My teaching materials are different from my regular lessons as I always curate a wide variety of materials to expand my students’ learning vision.
